The water cement ratio of concrete can be ascertained through slump test. Water cement ratio is very important for concrete. It depends on the value of compressive strength of concrete. Standard Water Cement has a ratio of 0.4 to 0.5.(concrete cylinder test procedure)
Below are all the requirements for the Slump Test:
1- Slump Cone.
2- Trolley / pan.
3- Measurement tape / scale.
4- Corney.
5- 16mm dia plane roar.
6- Parallel plate.
৭- ভোংগা.
Slump test method:
At first, there is no slamp cone, the size of which is 6 inches at the bottom, 4 inches at the top and 12 inches at the top of the angular instrument placed on a flat plate.Slump conr must be clean. And oil should be used on its inner surface. 3 parts of the slump cone should be filled with concrete.(civil engineering study tips)
Now you have to hit the sides of the cone 25 times with a plane rod of 18 mm diameter 25 times. Fill it 3 times in a row with concrete and hit it 25 times with 16 mm rod.
You have to do it with Corney.(cylinder test concrete)
It has to be lifted slowly. When lifting the Slam Cone, you can see that the concrete has gone down. Now the slump cone should be placed next to it. After that the value of the scale or measurement tape can be found from the part on the top of the slump to the top of the slump cone.(work experience for civil engineering students)

স্লাম্প টেষ্টের মাধ্যমে কংক্রিট এর ওয়াটার সিমেন্ট রেশিও ঠিক আছে কিনা তা যানা যায়।কংক্রিট এর জন্য ওয়াটার সিমেন্ট রেশিও খুবই গুরুত্ব পূর্ণ কাজ।এর উপর নির্ভর করে কংক্রিট এর কম্প্রেসিভ শক্তি এর মান। স্ট্যান্ডার্ড ওয়াটার সিমেন্টের এর রেশিও এর মান ০.৪ টু ০.৫।
স্লাম্প টেষ্টের জন্য যা যা প্রয়োজন তা নিচে দেয়া হলো:
1- স্লাম্প Cone।
2- ট্রলি/ কড়াই।
3- মেজারমেন্ট টেপ/ স্কেল।
4- কর্নি।
৫- ১৬mm ডায়া প্লেন রড়।
৬- সমান্তরাল প্লেট।
৭- ভোংগা।
স্লাম্প টেষ্ট করার পব্দতি:
প্রথমে একটি স্লাম্প Cone নেই, যার সাইজ নীচের অংশ ৮ ইঞ্জি , উপরের অংশ ৪ ইঞ্জিএবং Hight ১২ ইঞ্জি বিশিষ্ট কোণাকৃতি যন্ত্রিতকে একটি সমতল প্লেটের উপরে বসাই। স্লাম্প conr অবশ্যই পরিষ্কার থাকতে হবে। এবং উহার ভিতরের পৃষ্ঠে অয়েল ব্যবহার করতে হবে।স্লাম্প Cone টির ৩ ভাগের এর ভাগ কংক্রিট দিয়ে পূর্ণ করতে হবে। এবার ১৬ mm ডায়ার একটি প্লেন রড় দিয়ে Cone এর চার পাশে ২৫ বার আঘাত করতে হবে।এমনি করে পর পর ৩ বার কংক্রিট দিয়ে পূর্ণ করে ১৬ mm রড় দিয়ে ২৫ বার আঘাত করতে হবে।স্লাম্প Cone টি পূর্ণ হলে এর উপর এর অংশটি ভালো ভাবে সমান করে দিতে হবে কর্নি দিয়ে। এর উপর আস্তে আস্তে উঠাতে হবে।স্লাম Cone টি উঠানোর শেষ হলে দেখা যাবে কংক্রিট টি নিচের দিকে নেমে গেছে। এবার স্লাম্প cone টি তার পাশে রাখতে হবে।এর পর স্কেল বা মেজারমেন্ট টেপ দিয়ে স্লাম্প এর উপর এর অংশ থেকে স্লাম্প cone এর উপর পর্যন্ত যে মান পাওয়া যাবে তার মান টি স্লাম্প পাওয়া যাবে।
