Fordham University is a private research university in New York City. It was founded in 1841 as the Catholic College of Fordham and renamed after Cardinal James Cardinal Farley in 1932. The college, having grown rapidly since its inception, was initially composed of three separate institutions: a high school, a middle school, and a college. This evolved into Fordham College, a four-year liberal arts college. The college became affiliated with the Jesuit order in 1948. In 1952 the institution began to offer undergraduate instruction and by 1954 it was fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

In 1956 the college gained full accreditation from the Association of American Universities (AAU). By 1960 it had expanded to become one of the largest colleges in America with an enrollment of over 3,000 students. In 1962 it issued its first master's degree and in 1964 it began offering doctoral degrees.

In 1967 it was granted university status by New York State and changed its name to Fordham University. At this time it also acquired additional land through purchases made by President John Cardinal O'Connor beginning in 1967 until his death in 1976 when he bequeathed 573 acres (2 km.

The Department of Health Education and Promotion (HEP) is offering a special program for the Health Science Graduates Tuition which will allow them to receive the maximum scholarship amount of $10,000.

This program was launched in order to encourage more students to study in the field of health sciences. This scholarship is offered by the HEP and can be applied for by students who are studying at any university in the Philippines.

Law & Public Policy and Education AND Tution Fee:

The Law & Public Policy and Education programs are designed to prepare graduates for careers in law, public policy or education. The program provides students with a sound knowledge of the law and effective skills for working with clients, groups, organizations and communities. Graduates will be well prepared to enter careers in government agencies at the federal, state and local levels; nonprofit organizations; business enterprises; legal services firms; educational institutions; and other professional fields.

The MPA degree requires 30 credit hours of coursework (30 semester hours), which may include: 3 credits each of core courses (3 semester hours) that cover areas such as ethical theory or professional ethics; 3 credits each of electives within your general field of interest or within an area related to your major field (3 semester hours); 1 credit each of general education courses that provide a broad understanding

Our Engineering & Applied Science program offers a wide range of degree and certificate options that will prepare you for a career in the technical sciences. Our programs are designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to enter the field of engineering.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is designed to give you a solid foundation in the fundamentals of engineering technology. You will develop an understanding of science, mathematics, and engineering principles necessary for success in your chosen field. Through our hands-on program, you will learn how to design, build and test equipment to solve real world problems.

Our Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems degree is designed for students who want to use computers as part of their career path or who want a better understanding of computer technology. The curriculum focuses on programming languages, databases and data management systems as well as networking technologies such as Ethernet and wide area networks.

The engineering and applied science fee is $1,000 per year. Students in the College of Letters and Sciences pay a total of $12,500 for their undergraduate degree.
